Origin Story

Lead-Based Books LLC is a small publisher formed in early 2024, by a few writers and an artist/photographer who were all tired of the censorship and decadence in modern American society. Our aim is to bring back real and raw American literature not commonly seen since the days of Robert Beck (more commonly known as Iceberg Slim), Robert H. deCoy, and William S. Burroughs.

Everyone at Lead-Based Books believes in free expression without making compromises for the sake of censorship or close-minded agendas. That is why every book we publish is without censorship, without conformity, and most importantly sheds-light on issues ignored by the rest of America.
